Volunteer Kick-Off and first official meeting for Earth Day 2008 planning

Kaiser Permanente's Town Hall
Conference Room: Conf Rm 3A & B
Yellow Line on the MAX (exit train at the Overlook Park Station).
Come to our first meeting to add your ideas and energy and get ready for an amazing creation at Overlook Park on April 19, 2008 for displaying the best solutions for the planet that the Portland area has to offer! Great ideas abound for this year's Earth Day theme - DANCE of the DINOSAUR! - as we highlight the immediate need for change due to the declining resources from our friends from many years ago. Volunteers, vendors, entertainers, businesses and all potential partners are invited!
All your favorites will return... Kids' Village, 150 sustainable businesses and organizations, local music on 3 different stages, BikeEarthDay to Overlook Park, a poster contest and NEW for 2008: the ArtBike Challenge (create art bikes or trailers for non-profits to use as display booths at the event!)
